Marvettes’ Monday Morning Musing
Everything we feel has a message attached. Anxiety, pain, unease; these are not things we should run from, or try to change into something different. We can instead see them as life sending a message that maybe there are things to which you need to pay attention. Let it be motivation to look at your circumstances and see what you need to work on.
We are so reluctant and resistant to feeling discomfort: mental, physical, or emotional; and think life is only about what makes us “happy”, or “feel good”. We have to be willing to experience all parts of life, and not try to avoid what we interpret or perceive as unpleasant. All of lifes experiences are here as an opportunity for growth, expansion, and evolution.
When we choose to turn towards these feelings and emotions, we build and strengthen our abilty to develop new skills, and to be a more full version of ourselves. And know that this is only temporary, just like the last time.
